Royal Windermere Yacht Club
The Royal Windermere Yacht Club was founded in 1860 to promote sailing on Windermere.
The club sits in an idyllic position in Bowness Bay on the shores of England’s largest Lake. It has a well designed comfortable clubhouse with a bar, lounge, dining room and changing facilities.
Outside there is ample secure car parking and a large boat park where our Flying Fifteen and dinghy fleets can dry sail from our slipways and jetties.
The club welcomes both juniors and adults. Sailing is enjoyed by all ages.
