Britannia offers it's customers the largest modern charter fleet on the East Anglian Coast, ranging from a Beneteau 321 through to a Dufour 40'. All our boats are MCA coded and maintained to the highest standard. Most have heating and all have fridges for your increased comfort.
Whether you are a nervous beginner or an experienced sailor we can offer you the best tuition available on our fleet of well equipped sailing and power boats , and we sail all seasons. However, if you want that activity holiday with a difference and crave the freedom of the sea, our spacious, warm and comfortable boats are always available for charter.
We offer our corporate clients sailing days specially designed for their organisation to be both beneficial and memorable. We have chosen our base at Shotley Marina near Ipswich to give you direct entry to the open sea. The Marina affords easy access by major roads and rail lines from London and all other parts of the country. The sheltered and uncrowded waters of the many rivers and estuaries offer idyllic anchorages.
If you like local berthing hospitality, we are close to some of the most modern and friendly marinas in the country who will always find room for a visitor
Just imagine - at low tide you can experience the shining mudflats crossed by meandering streams and see wildfowl flocking to feed or, at hig tide watch the sky reflect in the water against the backdrop of the many historic features the East Coast has to offer.
For the more adventurous the continental ports of Dunkirk, Calais, Nieuwpoort and the Dutch Meers, are all a day's sailing or less away.
